Consulting

Machining & Finishing

Our in-house craftsmen can provide a variety of precise machining and finishing services using cutting-edge equipment and software to take your castings from near net shape to exact specifications.

Rapid Prototyping

PPCP’s Rapid Prototyping, also known as 3D printing or Free-Form Fabrication, is the process of creating a 3D model of your parts in a material that allows you to cast, test and review your product specifications. It enables you to get a copy of your product at a fraction of the cost required to create the actual investment cast tooling. This also makes it cost effective to order multiple prototypes with different specifications for comparison. The typical time frame to get a prototype in this program is just a few days.

Heat-Treating

We can provide heat-treating that is necessary to improve casting ductility and machinability, which can be lost during rapid cooling. It also can increase casting strength and result in a more uniform or homogeneous structure throughout the parts.

Non-Destructive Testing

To ensure the highest levels of quality, the best performance and consistency with specifications, PPCP offers a full range of non-destructive testing. Included are Magnetic Particle Inspection (MPI), Liquid Penetrant Inspection (LPI), Radiographic Testing (RT) and more.
