Investment Casting Parts Consistency

Nov 24, 2015

DSC_0168When an industrial or commercial application requires extremely consistent parts, investment casting can be an excellent option. Because investment casting is a near-net-shape process, there is little or no machining and finishing work required. This minimizes opportunities for inaccuracies or parts variations. This is especially true over medium or long parts runs. Minimizing the need for machining also can significantly reduce the total cost per part.
