Investment casting with fusible alloys is excellent for making parts and applications that require good thermal conductivity. These alloys have low melting points (less than 450ºF) and other properties that are ideal for numerous uses, such as temperature relief devices, fire sprinklers, electronic devices, complex aerospace components and laboratory equipment, to name just a few. Fusible alloys include bismuth, tin, lead and other metals. Cerrosafe, Rose’s Metal and Field’s Metal are some of the common fusible alloys.
