The final two steps of investment casting are testing and inspection, followed by packing and shipping. Thorough testing, using cutting-edge instruments and processes, and detailed part inspections are critical for quality assurance. Tests such as spectrographic analysis, photomicrographic analysis, ultrasonic testing, OE spectroscopy, corrosion testing, radiographic testing (RT) and others are utilized. Finally, the finished castings are securely packaged and shipped to the customer as specified.
